etsy artist, j. sullivan studio, cranks out these amazing original watercolors. i love that all the bright colors are grounded by big gashes of black. these would fit perfectly in our new apartment but, unfortunately, he doesn't yet offer them in prints and we can't yet afford "real art." sigh.

song of the day: the black keys

the past two weeks have been soooo busy with a whole range of wonderfullness that included a portland vacation with some of my bridesmaids (i've never laughed so hard or ate so much thai food in six consecutive days in my LIFE) and diving headfirst into hard work for a pilot for MTV and a lovely weekend getaway to the mister and my's new brooklyn apartment. it's been bliss.
